So how does IPL laser hair removal work?  

The IPL laser beam is focused on the hair follicles beneath the skin’s surface to disable the hair follicle quickly and safely, and stop the hair from growing. The hairs will then gradually fall out over the next seven to ten days, leaving the skin smooth and hair free - in other words effective permanent hair reduction.

How many IPL laser hair removal treatments would I need? 

Most areas require a minimum course of 5 treatments. The number of treatments varies depending on a multiple of factors: the thickness of the hair; the area being treated; and your hair’s growth cycle.

To ensure hairs in each stage of the growth cycle are disabled there tends to be a five to eight week interval between each course of treatment.

Will the IPL laser hair removal treatment hurt?

Most patients say it is pain free but a somefeel mild discomfort.  Mild redness may occur on the treated area but this will only last for a short period, similar to waxing.

How much does laser hair removal cost? 

This depends on the size of the area being treated and the number of treatments needed for that individual to achieve the desired results. As an example, a top lip treatment would cost £45 per session and you will need between 3 and 6 treatments 6-8 weeks apart.
